Construction

Solid / stranded annealed bare / tinned copper conductor
General purpose PVC/ HR/ FRLS insulation.
Al Mylar Tape screen with Copper drain wire or alternately with copper wire braiding individual element or overall shielding as specified.
All cores twisted; solid and bi color coding for core identification.
Inner sheathing by General purpose PVC / HR / FRLS/ZHLS.
Wire or strip galvanized steel wire armouring.
Outer sheathing by General purpose PVC / HR / FRLS/ZHLS.
Temperature range -20°C to 90°C

Test requirements

Controlled diameter at each stage
DC resistance, tensile strength and elongation for center conductor
Insulation resistance, High voltage testing on individual cores
Control flame propagation phenomena
RoHS complaint (if required)
